Collection: Studio Drift

The "Dandelight" is part of the "Fragile Future" series by acclaimed design duo, Studio Drift, hailing from the Netherlands. In this REAL dandelion turned light sculpture, the dandelions were harvested and brought to Drift's workshop where the seeds were removed one by one from the head of each dandelion. A tiny LED light was then installed into the head, and the seeds were hand glued back, one by one, to create the "Dandelight". Housed and protected under a glass dome, the battery is non-functional and part of the design. The Dandelight is plugged into a wall outlet for usage.
