David is extremely passionate about wine and he avidly collected bottles during his 25 year career as a successful still life fashion photographer. Finding himself diving deeper and deeper into the world of wine, he switched gears and decided to pursue this other passion creating an entirely new career for himself. He became Certified through The Court of Master Sommeliers and quickly advanced to run the wine programs for two James Beard Award winning chefs, Sean Brock’s Husk in Charleston and then Missy Robbins’ Lilia in Brooklyn. David is wine consultant and educator located in New York City.
